The demo starts with these settings:
- The ambient temperature outside the car is at 70 Deg F (which deactivates
Ocu-Alert)
- The ignition is off
- There is no dog in the cage.
Ocu-Alert Phase I is actually a very simple concept. If a dog is in the cage and the temperature outside is in a danger zone, the ignition cannot be turned off. The demo above is intended to help visualize the concept.
Try different combinations, such as:
- Put dog in the cage with the temperature at 70:
Now the ignition works as normal.
- Put a dog in the cage with the temperature at 80:
Now the ignition turns on and cannot be turned off while there is a dog in
the cage.
